Community Voice

We wanted to clarify something important: Palm Cove Alliance isn't just another advocacy group - it's YOUR voice organised into action.

Our priorities aren't coming from a committee room - they're coming directly from YOU, the community. Through Cairns Regional Council's 2021 Palm Cove Streetscape and Landscape Master Plan community engagement process, the community made their voices heard, and the results were clear:

Your Top Priorities:

- Protecting our beach and natural environment (overwhelmingly your #1 concern)

- Preserving Palm Cove's village character and preventing overdevelopment

- Managing tourism impacts whilst supporting local businesses

- Improving infrastructure and amenities for residents

- Addressing traffic and parking challenges

These aren't our agenda items - they're yours. Council's own community engagement process told us what matters most to the Palm Cove community, and that's exactly what we're advocating for. Every issue we raise, every submission we make, and every conversation we have with Council is driven by what YOU told them matters most.

Palm Cove Alliance exists because the community spoke up and said "we want a say in Palm Cove's future." We're here to make sure that voice is heard - loud and clear.
